Greetings to all the troopers of the Malaysia-Brunei Outpost! It has been more than ten years since the 501st Legion first donned armor and began enforcing the will of Lord Vader. We are now worldwide and dominating the Star Wars fan community! It is with great pride that I congratulate you in Malaysia and Brunei for your hard work in spreading the magic of Star Wars to your home. Asia is quickly becoming our fastest growing region for Stormtrooper enlistment. And Malaysia and Brunei both appear in our updates every month with progress.

When I spoke with George Lucas in Pasadena California, he told me that he is very impressed with the fans he met from Asia and is glad to know you like his work. I too am impressed with your efforts and am proud that you represent us so well. I hope that you will encourage one another and bond together as a family, for the Legion is a family and we take care of our members. I hope that one day I will be able to visit your beautiful land and meet you in person. You are truly an exceptional people.

Now your mission is clear: tell your friends of the fun you have trooping, inform your schools and hospitals that you are available to volunteer, spread the word that the Legion is a power to reckon with. We depend on you to uphold the tradition of the 501st in your communities. I know that you will not fail us. I look forward to the day that we can salute the finest Garrison in Asia: The Malaysia-Brunei Garrison! That will be a great day!
